Attain Academy Partnership is a multi-academy trust currently consisting of four local primary schools:

  • Elm Hall Primary School, Witham (Outstanding)
  • Gosfield Community Primary School, Gosfield (Good)
  • Newlands Spring Primary School, Chelmsford (Outstanding)
  • Rayne Primary and Nursery School, Braintree (Good)

Attain Academy Partnership aims to provide an outstanding education for all children in all schools, relevant to the world in which they live. We would like all members of Attain to  become:

  • Ambitious, capable learners who are resilient and independant
  • Enterprising, creative contributors who have a real love of learning
  • Ethical, informed citizens who value differences and inclusivity
  • Healthy, confident individuals who contribute to a mutually supportive environment

Attain’s aspirational vision is to enable more families in the Witham area to have access to our high quality education provision.

In line with the identified need by the Local Authority, it is our intention to submit an application to the Department of Education in November 2019 to open a free school, Lodge Farm Primary and Nursery.

If successful, our proposal will see us providing excellent education to children aged 2 to 11 years old in a new two form entry school in Witham.  This will be with an initial cohort of up to 60 new pupils starting with Foundation Stage from September 2022, which will then increase each year to a maximum of 420  students with additional Nursery places.

Public Consultation

In order to ensure that our proposals best meet the needs of all our stakeholders, we are keen to hear what local parents, children, schools and other interested parties think about this idea. To this end, we will be holding a public consultation in the Autumn from the 4th September 2019 until the 8th November 2019 about our plans during which we invite all those in the community to contribute their thoughts and ideas.

You are welcome to come along to the public meeting to be held on the 25th September 2019 at Spring Lodge Community Centre to look at elements of the bid and to meet with staff from Attain Academy Partnership. If you are not able to attend the public meeting please do fill in the questionnaire and send it to Attain Academy Partnership.
